    Sean Slovenski

    Chief Executive Officer

    Sean Slovenski was named the Chief Executive Officer of Care Innovations® in October 2013. A passionate thought leader in the healthcare and wellness industries, Sean is a proven innovator and entrepreneur with an established track record in defining and building businesses from concept to viability. Sean has demonstrated great success in building pioneering products that define and lead their market segment while being highly adept at building distribution channels on a national and international scale.

    Sean has held significant senior leadership roles within the industry, most recently at Humana serving as Segment Vice President of Humana's Health and Productivity Solutions business group. In this role, he led hundreds of employees in four industry-leading wellness businesses, aligning them into a common vision while bolstering expertise in population health and wellbeing.

    Prior to joining Humana, Sean was Co-Founder and CEO of Hummingbird Coaching Services, an award-winning company known as the industry leader in online coaching and behavior management that was sold to Humana in 2010. Hummingbird Coaching Services grew out of Sean's development and delivery of the MyHealthCoach.com online personal coaching product, one of the nation's first large-scale wellness efforts and telephonic health coaching product lines servicing Fortune 500 clientele.

    In prior roles, Sean also drove the development and operations for two of the largest health system-based Integrative Medicine and Wellness centers in the U.S. and served as CEO of HumanaVitality, the international joint venture between Humana and Discovery Health of South Africa, which was one of the largest and most proven wellness incentive companies in the industry.

  • Marcus Grindstaff

    Marcus Grindstaff

    Vice President, Sales and Market Development

    Marcus Grindstaff is a business strategy and product technology leader with more than 20 years of experience in the high tech industry. Marcus is currently the Vice President, Sales and Market Development, and has responsibility for remote care management and smart sensor solutions sales and for company strategy and business execution across all markets outside of the U.S. Prior to this role, Marcus led strategy and product marketing for Care Innovations®.

    Marcus joined Care Innovations at its formation in 2011, from the Intel Digital Health Group. A 17-year Intel veteran, Marcus held a variety of positions including leadership roles in both Intel Capital and Intel's core semiconductor business. Marcus also served as the Technology Director in Intel's Ultra-mobility Office of Big Ideas, where he was responsible for building the Low Power Chipset team, delivering Intel's first low power chipset for the Atom* microprocessor.

    Throughout his career, Marcus has focused on growing exceptional teams chartered with delivering strategy, technology, marketing and product execution throughout the U.S., Asia and Europe. He is also a passionate spokesperson for reforming the healthcare delivery system, and serves on the board of the National Alliance for Caregiving.

    Marcus earned a Bachelor of Computer Engineering degree from the University of California, Davis.

    Chief Marketing Officer

    Karissa Price-Rico, Ph.D. joined Care Innovations® as Chief Marketing Officer in 2014. Karissa is a corporate entrepreneur and high energy, award winning professional with a proven record of creating and executing profitable growth strategies for organizations ranging from ground level start-ups to Fortune 100 corporations. Dr. Price is passionate about helping to reduce healthcare costs while providing better care and believes that technology combined with consistent, high quality home care services holds the key to some of our most pressing problems.

    Karissa co-founded and served as CEO of the first national, certified network of Home Care Agencies and service providers to help consumers age in place. The Trusted Hands Network generates calls from families that are then analyzed through a proprietary software system and matched to certified agency and provider members based on the patients needs. While building Trusted Hands, she created and executed campaigns on national television and online that generated significant consumer response and helped thousands of families find high quality care at home. Karissa and her team built a network of over 500 certified home care agencies and service providers nationwide over three years and worked with some of the largest Home Health providers in the nation.

    Prior to founding Trusted Hands, Karissa spent 9 years as the Vice President of Growth Initiatives at the largest consumer products and financial services provider and advertiser in the US Hispanic market. Karissa repeatedly demonstrated the ability to create, launch and grow new products and services and leverage existing brands into new business lines. At Lexicon Marketing, Karissa was responsible for researching, creating, planning and execution of all marketing, branding, and product and business development activities. She successfully mined their large consumer database to develop new offerings for the Hispanic market that resonated with consumers and created over $300M in new revenue for the company over seven years. Through her unique approach of data analytics and consumer research, Karissa was able to leverage their flagship brand, Inglés sin Barreras, with 95% recognition in Hispanic Market, into 8 new business and service lines.

  • Randall Swanson

    Vice President, Chief Operating and Financial Officer

    Randy Swanson is the Vice President, Chief Operating and Financial Officer of Care Innovations®. He has responsibility for corporate business strategy, innovation-centered research and program development, partner engagements, finance, quality, product operations, and human resources. In addition, he has executive-level responsibility for Corporate Compliance. Most recently, he was the Vice President, Chief Innovation Officer, focused on business strategy and innovation growth.

    As a 17-year Intel veteran, Randy has held a variety of finance and business development positions across numerous business groups at Intel, including Digital Health Group, New Business Group, Intel Architecture Group, and the Technology & Manufacturing Group. Randy most recently served as Controller and Director of Business Development in the Digital Health Group as an influential member of a startup team, setting the company's investment strategy and business model. Prior to this role, Randy served as the Controller of the Intel Americas' Sales and Marketing Operation Finance where he led a team responsible for revenue reporting and marketing program execution in Intel's North and South America sales and marketing group.

    Randy received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at Clarkson University, a Masters in Business Administration at Michigan Business School, and a Masters of Systems Engineering at the University of Michigan.

  • Kumar Subramaniam

    Kumar Subramaniam

    Chief Information and Technology Officer

    Kumar Subramaniam is the Chief Information and Technology Officer of Care Innovations®. He has responsibility for directing the future development of our Health Harmony platform; facilitating the creation of an architecture and infrastructure that enables our IT systems, our client's systems, and patient health information sources to communicate seamlessly; and leading the effort to aggregate information to support our analytics initiatives.

    Kumar brings 22 years of experience in systems integration, and product management, development and deployment. He was most recently the Vice President for Product Management at hCentive, a startup providing cloud hosted health insurance exchange software. Prior to this, Kumar held senior roles at NetLaw Group, an online estate planning and financial well-being technology platform, and at Humana, where he led systems and business integration, JV enablement, portfolio modernization, and process optimization initiatives.

    Kumar received a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering at the College of Engineering, University of Pune, India; a Master of Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, at the University of Louisville, Kentucky; and is a Doctoral Degree Candidate at Walden University.

  • Julie Cherry

    Julie Cherry, R.N., M.S.N

    Vice President, Clinical and Consulting Services

    Julie Cherry is the Vice President, Clinical and Consulting Services, with responsibility for the company's overall clinical strategy and engaging clients with consulting services to focus on care model design, population assessment, business model design, and more. Julie is responsible for all clinical aspects of Care Innovations® solutions and services development to ensure clinical and business value, as well as customer satisfaction, for healthcare systems and healthcare providers. Julie brings more than 38 years of nursing and clinical expertise to the role.

    Prior to joining Care Innovations, Julie helped pioneer the first home telehealth solution for remote patient monitoring. She has worked diligently throughout her career to influence the adoption of technology-facilitated care models designed to meet the needs of the chronically ill.

    Julie is an advanced practice nurse with a specialty in gerontology. She has written several publications and position papers on the impact of technology for remote patient monitoring and chronic illness management. She holds both a B.S. and an M.S. in Nursing from San Jose State University.

    Thierry Leclercq

    President & CEO, Life Care Solutions, GE Healthcare

    Thierry Leclercq has assumed the role of the chairman of the board for Care Innovations®. Leclercq is President and CEO of Life Care Solutions and a GE Corporate Officer. He is responsible for leading a $2.1B global business that addresses the needs of patients and clinicians in a variety of care areas, including critical care, anesthesia delivery, neonatal intensive care, labor & delivery, preoperative and home care.

    Leclercq has been with GE Healthcare for 25 years, having served in a number of business management roles in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and the Americas. He joined GE in 1989 as a Vascular Product Manager based in France. In 1994, Leclercq moved to Singapore as the Asia/Pacific Marketing Manager and in 1996 was appointed General Manager of the X-ray business based in Tokyo. He moved back to France in 1999 to assume the role of General Manager, CT. In 2002 he was appointed to Vice President, Europe Middle East Africa for the Services business and in 2004, was named as the Vice President, Clinical Systems Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Leclercq moved to the United States in 2008 upon taking his current role.

    Leclercq has a degree in Biomedical Engineering from Université de Technologie de Compiègne in France and an MBA from Temple University.

  • Robert Crooke

    Robert Crooke

    Board Member, Intel-GE Care Innovations®, Vice President and General Manager
    Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group, Intel Corporation

    Robert Crooke is an Intel corporate vice president and is general manager of the Non-Volatile Memory (NVM) Solutions Group. This group is responsible for Intel's component, module and SSD NVM businesses. Just prior to this Crooke led the Intel® Atom* and System on a Chip Development Group (ASDG), a group responsible for delivering world-class low-power processors for the Atom* processor product line as well as developing enabling technology for system-on-a-chip (SoC) products across the company.

    Previously, Robert served as vice president and general manager of the Business Client Group where he was responsible for Intel's desktop products and directing Intel's cross-client vision for business client computing. Prior to this, Robert was vice president and director of marketing and planning in the Desktop Products Group. This included the processor and chipset product roadmaps as well as digital home and digital office initiatives. From 2000 to 2004 Robert was vice president and general manager of the Platform Architecture and Solutions Division. In this role he was responsible for the company's development of motherboard products in addition to desktop microprocessor and chipset enabling technology. Robert has served as director of marketing for the Basic Microprocessor Division and Performance Microprocessor Division. He joined Intel in 1989 in the sales force as a field applications engineer and spent nine years in the field in various roles.

    Prior to joining Intel, Robert held design engineering positions at Alliant Computer Systems and Custom Silicon Inc. He received his bachelor's degree in computer systems engineering from the University of Massachusetts in 1985. Robert was appointed vice president in 2002 and elected corporate vice president in 2005.

    Jan De Witte has been President and CEO of Performance Solutions since May 2010, responsible for building GE Healthcare's knowledge solutions capabilities into a new growth business that provides new ways of organizing, measuring, and managing health care delivery over the full cycle of care to drive better cost, quality and access.

    In April 2011, Jan was named to the additional role of President and CEO of Healthcare IT, a $1.4 billion segment of GE Healthcare. GE Healthcare IT is a global leader in delivering information technology solutions that support high-quality and cost-effective care through business, clinical, and imaging applications covering settings from the physician office to the integrated delivery network.

    As CEO of these advisory and technology businesses, Jan will enable them to synchronize their strategies and common areas of cooperation, positioning GEHC as a unique partner to the healthcare industry.

    Jan has served in a number of strategic technology and business leadership roles since he joined GE in 1999. He has a diverse background in services, digital business strategy, supply chain, manufacturing, quality and Lean Six Sigma. Previously Jan led GE Healthcare's $1.2 billion Services business across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia, a role that also oversaw the company's regional Healthcare IT businesses.

    Prior to GE, Jan held a variety of operational management positions in supply chain and manufacturing at Procter & Gamble in Europe. From 1993 to 1998 Jan served as Senior Consultant with McKinsey & Company in Brussels, Amsterdam, and Zurich in business strategy development and performance improvement, serving clients in airline, process and high tech industries across Europe.

    Jan is a GE Officer. He graduated with the greatest distinction from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium) in 1987 with a Master of Science Degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering. Jan earned his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1993.

  • Jeff Woolard

    Vice President of Finance, Intel Capital Controller, Intel Corporation

    Jeff Woolard is an Intel Vice President and controller for Intel Capital. This group is responsible for Intel's corporate venture investments and Merger & Acquisition activities. Prior to this Jeff was the Controller for the Intel® Atom* & System on a Chip Development Group (ASDG), a group responsible for delivering the Atom* processor product line as well as developing enabling technology for system-on-a-chip (SoC) products across the company. Jeff was also Controller for the organization focused on delivering Intel Netbook and Tablet products.

    Previously, Jeff served as the controller for the Business Client Group which was responsible for Intel's desktop products and directing Intel's cross-client vision for business client computing. Prior to this, Jeff was controller for our Server Chipset and Server System business, a Finance Manager for our M&A Group, and has worked as the finance manager for developing several new businesses inside of Intel and has worked supporting our Microprocessor design teams Jeff joined Intel in 1995. Jeff has a bachelor's degree from Arizona State University and an MBA from the University of Washington.
