The Guide is a critical step in the evolution of virtual care. The Guide lets people and care coordinators discuss and evaluate the patient’s condition with video conferences. A variety of content, including text, audio, and video can become part of a patient's scheduled health session, or offered at teachable moments during care.

The Guide Virtual Care Suite supports patient privacy and the healthcare professional's compliance with applicable privacy laws and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements by securing all information in the remote database on an encrypted file system.
Communication with patients
The Guide Virtual Care Suite allows healthcare professionals to arrange and conduct video calls with their patients, enabling both the patient and the care manager to see and hear one another.
Patient prioritization
Because the Guide Virtual Care Suite supports "management by exception," healthcare professionals can prioritize their patients' clinical needs. Personalized care protocols
The Guide Virtual Care Suite provides healthcare professionals a way to personalize care protocols for each of their patients. Patients use the Guide¹ to participate in the personalized health sessions, during which patients may measure vital signs, respond to health assessment questions, receive educational information and motivational messages, and more. The results are then made available to the healthcare professionals, who can use the information to assess patients' health status and modify care protocols accordingly.
